Part of being a left hand drive car dealer is getting to meet people going on exciting journey’s sometimes a car lets you do it twice!
It’s also always nice to get feedback following someone’s new purchase especially when they have been happy not only with their purchase but also the service they received too. Over Christmas we received an email from a recent customer who had bought a left hand drive Dacia Duster from us saying just that. They were also kind enough to send us a few pictures of the car up against some typically French backdrops in it’s new home.
The fact is this is a car we’ve have had the pleasure to sell twice now. Back in 2013 we sold the car brand new on UK plates to client who had homes both in Scotland and Portugal. This LHD car offered not only great value for money but the essentials like air con, bluetooth, electric windows, CD/Radio and alloys and most importantly Dacia’s pretty decent selectable four wheel drive system which has been tried and tested on both Nissan and Renault platforms. 2 years and 33000 miles later he came back to us to chop it in for a new one. Coming back in with additional Dacia towbar, privacy glass and a nice dealer service history it would make a great car for any prospective new owner.
Our new customers were embarking on their retirement to France and the Duster would be a key part of the plan in getting around to, from and around their rural French property and even though getting this well priced left hand drive car meant the lady having to give up her much loved Alfa Romeo Giulietta to was worth it in the end. The question is will we get to meet this car and another interesting client in a few years time and where will this car head next? Spain, Italy, Switzerland maybe?
